Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
Thank you to our community sponsors for all of their generous donations. With the community support we were able to host a spaghetti dinner for a group of students travelling to Europe this Spring Break. We could not have done this without your support!
Huge thanks goes out to Chef Jeff Van Geest for organizing the kitchen and donations to get us there. In addition to his support he connected with several community sponsors including Sysco Kelowna for the food supplies.

A big thank you to Secrest Organic for donating seasonal fruits and veggies to our school community. Students are learning how to preserve the food to help feed our school throughout the year.

The staff and students at Southern Okanagan Secondary are appreciative of the contributions from our local No Frills. The latest donation to our school community comes from the 2018 Save it Forward program at a total of $646.30. Thank you to No Frills for putting our school forward as a recipient for this program!

On August 2nd 2018 Meyer Family Vineyards and Structurlam hosted an incredible evening in support of Southern Okanagan Secondary School. All proceeds from ticket sales were donated to the SOSS Athletics Program. These funds will create opportunities for students to join SOSS athletic teams who may not have the financial means to do so. We are fortunate to have such amazing community businesses supporting our student athletes.
Many thanks to Tinhorn Creek as they presented Southern Okanagan Secondary School with another sponsorship of our Arts Department with the Celebrate the Arts cheque of $15,000. Our fine arts programs are important to our school community and this support makes an incredible difference. This is the fourth year that this generous contribution has added to our programming.
