- Grade 12’s - the flower and meat grad fundraisers have now begun! Paper order forms are in the office or check the Grad 2025 Teams for the online links. Deadline to order is April 24. (pls read everyday)
- Hornet Homies – we are meeting today in Ms. Seymour’s classroom at lunch. New students are always welcome.
- Hey Grade 9 Hornets, anyone interested in coming on the Europe trip next Spring Break please see Mrs. G or Mrs. Stopa for more information. The trip is now open for Grade 9’s.
- Any Indigenous Students interested in working outdoors or in the forestry sector please see Shynai in the gathering space for a permission form to the BC First Nations Youth Forestry Conference, Friday April 25th. We will be having a meeting on April 22nd (next Tuesday) for OIB students from 10:00 – 10:45 and an Indigenous Grad meeting from 10:45- 11:15 am in the gathering space. We are requesting all indigenous grads to join.

- Boys group today at 12:05 in the gathering room.
- Pickleball club today during lunchtime in the big gym.
- Ms. Martins Food Studies 8 completed their Chopped Pizza Challenge yesterday with some pretty delicious pizza and the results are in. In Third place with a BBQ Chicken pizza were Armaan Gill, Vikram Gill, Landen Newstead and Luka Splane, in 2nd place with their Loaded Pizza was Natalia Couture, Georgia Fewchuk, Danica Nemeth-Kyte, Mae Sheppard and Kaelyn Smallwood, the champion pizza was the Meat Lover 3 Cheese pizza created by Felix Van Geest, Aiden Waines, Dominic Wasson and Emma Wharry. Congratulations on a job well done to all of you and thanks for a great term! Special thank you to our panel of chopped judges, Mr. Cordeiro, Ms. Janda, Liberty Pelly and Selena Vala.
- Hey Hornets, did you know we are having a garage sale fundraiser for the Europe trip in 2026? Well it’s true! To help us out, you can buy a table and sell your stuff – or, donate your stuff and we’ll sell it for you! There will also be a Bake Sale, Facepainting, and bottle drive donations accepted as well. Check out the posters around the school for more information, or talk to any of the Europe Trip students, Mrs. G, Ms. Seymour, or Mrs. Stopa.
