The small item lost and found in the office is overflowing! If you have lost headphones, prescription glasses, or jewelry, please stop by the office to claim them today!

PE 8 B Block – Students in Mr. Podmorow’s B Block PE 8 class are reminded that Broomball has been cancelled today. You are asked to please meet at school for PE today.

Attention grads, the school-based scholarship and bursary applications are due this Friday. Last year SOSS awarded over $140,000 to grads. Do not wait until the last minute to apply! See Mrs. Koffler in the office if you have any questions.

Girls group on Wednesday at 10:25, please check in today with your C and A block teachers to get any work that you may miss

The Sr. Boys basketball team travelled to Westyde in Kamloops this past weekend to play in the Valley Championships. The boys came out strong crushing Pleasant Valley 121-67, setting a game high for all the teams in the tournament. In Their second game the boys fought hard but came up a bit short against ap tough Summerland team, who is currently ranked 2nd in the province. The boys finished the tournament strong beating both Princess Maragaret and Kalamalka to win the consolation final and finished in 3rd place. The boys finished the season on a high note and should be proud of how things turned out. The boys are already looking forward to next year's season. Good Job hornets.

Respect Records and Skate is sponsoring an all-ages punk show this Saturday at the Elks Hall starting at 6:30pm featuring 4 local bands including “20 Willow” and “The Racket” and an art show featuring SOSS student artwork from grades 8-12. The price at the door is only $10! Come out and have some fun.

Yoga Club is back at SOSS!! The first session will be Monday after school in Room 209. See Mrs. Stopa or Jude Splane for more information.
