- There will be a meeting at lunch on Thursday in the LC room for any junior girls trying out for basketball. See Mrs. Harrington if you can’t make this meeting.
- The Jr Boys Volleyball team travelled to Summerland last night for the South Zone challenge match. Unfortunately, the Hornets did not put together the consistent effort that they needed to win the match losing 25-22 and 26-24 to the Rockets. All members of the team are asked to wash, fold, and turn in both sets of their uniforms to Mr Pod by Friday.
- Hey SOSS! The Winter Dance is on November 28th! This year, Link Crew is bringing you a Masquerade Ball. Your ticket will include a masquerade mask and “champagne cocktail.” Tickets are $15 and are available at lunch outside of the Zen Den.
- There will be a Grade 8 girls basketball shooting practice in the small gym at lunch today. Please be there if you’re interested in playing this season so we can find out if there will be enough players for a team this year.
- If you are coming to the Try a trade event at Okanagan College on Thursday - please return your permission forms asap to Mr. Turnbull or Mrs. Burns
- Teacher Jenny will be at the school at lunch in the caf today to meet with students about outdoor club. You can order your Outsiders hoodie or come and give her ideas about the kind of activities you’d like to see happen during future outdoor club outings.
- TODAY is the last day to make course changes for this quarter. See Mr. Willms if you have questions!
- Indigenous Grads! If you’re interested in visiting UBCO please come see Tara or Nick for information on a trip this month
- Boys group this afternoon. Please check in with your D block teachers and head to the gathering room
- The Sr. Girls vball team travelled to Kelowna last night for their Wildcard playoff matches. The girls beat Merritt and Armstrong and have qualified for the Valley championship this weekend in Vernon. Shout outs to “Sure Hands” Alana Guttormsom for leading the offence, Ava “Kosakattack” Kosaka for leading the team in kills, and Paige “Rocketarm” Loughheed with a dominant serving performance. Practice is tomorrow from 3-4:30 in the main gym.
- Any students interested in going to China there will be a meeting on Thursday at lunch in room 103.
- Grade 12’s - today is the last day to vote for your Dry Grad trip. Check your Teams for the Form and make sure you submit it today if you want your vote to count!
