- It is almost Halloween. Time to get your costumes together for the annual SOSS Halloween Costume Contest. This year, to be eligible for the contest, you must sign up on the sheets outside of the Zen Den – Fill in your group, and most importantly, your theme song. Tomorrow is the last day to sign up. Let’s make this contest the best ever.
- There is no skateboard club this week due to Halloween, but Tuesday next week is our last session.
- Would the following students please see Mrs. Wilkie at some point today – Deepika Brar, Kismet Dhaliwal, and Mikayla Toft Garcia.
- This message is for students who will be taking French 10 in second semester. There will be a guest speaker coming to our school today at 1:30. The speaker will be sharing information about student exchanges to France and Belgium. If you think that you might be interested in participating in an exchange next year, and if you have your Block D teacher's permission, please come to Ms. Arnason's room (#203) right after your Block C class today. The session will be approximately 30 minutes long.

- Congratulations to the senior boys soccer team on a hard fought 4 to 0 win against Summerland. Goals were scored by Blake Kriesel, Adwin Azu, Logan Fletcher and Zephyr Pickell. With the win the boys earned a berth to the Valley Championships on Thursday in Vernon.
- We want to remind all bus students to line up off the road, at a safe distance, for the morning pick up. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
- Congratulations to the Jr. Girls Field Hockey Team on their 1-0 win yesterday vs Summerland. Big shout outs to Arpan Gill for her assist and to Zoey Jones for our goal. Strong play by their goal keeper Neveah Prosper. Well done, jrs! Come out and support the team in the South Zone Championships this Saturday, Nov.2, on our top field.
- Last night, the junior girls volleyball team travelled to Penticton to play their last league game of the season. They gave it their all and left everything on the court, but unfortunately came up short against two formidable opponents, losing both matches
- Boys group tomorrow, check in with D block teacher then head to the gathering room. Dress for the weather as we will be going outside.
