- Jr Boys Volleyball – Congratulations to the Jr Boys Volleyball Team who went undefeated to win the Panthers Invitational Volleyball Tournament in Merritt this past weekend. It was a good team effort overall. Jude Splane was the team’s most valuable player for the tournament. Well done Hornets!
- Our 1st school talent showcase of the year is coming up. So, dust off your dance shoes, warm up those vocal cords, or get your artwork ready! Our showcase assemblies will also feature sport and community reports. If you are interested in being a school sportscaster or community reporter, we want to hear from you! If you want to be part of this, please sign up on the fishbowl window across from Mrs. Schori’s room by Friday, Oct 4th.
- Volleyball Referee Clinic – Any students or staff members who are interested in becoming certified volleyball referees are invited to two mandatory training sessions today and Thursday from 4-8pm at Penticton Secondary School. The cost is $20. If you plan to attend, see MrPod today.
- The Senior Field Hockey team capped off a busy September with a tournament in Surrey where they played four challenging games on turf. The team still has lots to learn, but there were moments of brilliance, including great saves by Sarah Saysomsack and our hard-working team defence shutting down a powerful team’s offence. Great work, Hornets!!
