- Reminder to staff and students, TODAY is the last day for awards nominations. Students, that means it’s your last chance to nominate someone who makes SOSS a wonderful place to be a part of, nominate for the 2024 Citizenship Award today! Ballots are in the office with Mrs. Koffler.
- Prom Committee Meeting today in Room 109B at lunch.
- ATTENTION Grads... TODAY is the last day to purchase Prom tickets! A table will be set up outside the Zen Den at lunch and tickets are $75.
- (Repeat until the 22nd) Attention Grade 11’s, check your teams. There is a link on the general page allowing you to vote for what your GRAD hoodie will look like. You heard right, Grade 11’s, go to teams, click on the Grad Hoodie survey. Grade 11’s you have until May 22nd to get your vote in.
- Wishing Maia Bellingham, Ishmeet Dhaliwal, Kaylee Klassen and Vienna Von Burg the best of luck in their stage two provincial Field Hockey tryouts this coming weekend!
- In honor of Multicultural week at SOSS next week, the grad class has planned a Holi event happening Friday May 24th. Holi is a traditional South Asian festival celebrated by throwing colored powder at each other. If you are interested in this event, you can sign up at lunch in front of the Zen den and buy your powder packets next week. Remember to sign up and join in the fun!
- In 2 weeks, Link Crew will be running a Spirit Day Olympic Event on May 31st. There will be many different team competitive events like a hot dog eating contest, horse hurdles, four corners and more. There will also be some non-competitive events like volleyball, slip n slide, spike ball and many others. Leading up to spirit day, dress up throughout the week according to the different themes, as posted around the school and don’t forget to wear school colors for spirit day! Sign up your team now on the sign-up sheets by the Zen Den. Can’t wait to see you there hornets!
