- Attention SOSS Students, as we are rapidly approaching awards season, we need your help! Nominations are now open for YOU to put names forward for this year’s SOSS Citizenship Award – this award is aimed at recognizing someone who inspires and supports their peers through their actions and words. Ballots can be found with Ms. Koffler in the office, and the deadline is May 17th.
- ATTENTION Grads... Prom tickets are on sale this week and next week. A table will be set up outside the Zen Den at lunch. Tickets are $75 each so get your ticket today!
- Congratulations to the Senior Girls Soccer Team for coming first place in the South zone after beating Summerland yesterday 2-0 and leaving them undefeated in the league! Goals were scored by Charli Ruck and Iesha Dhillon. The team is off the Valley Championships this coming Tuesday and Wednesday! Great job Hornets!
- The Sr. Ultimate team travels to Summerland this afternoon for a challenge match for second place at Valleys and a birth at provincials. Good luck today, Hornets!
- Thank you to those people who came out to pickleball at lunch yesterday. This is the start of our pickleball team that will train every Wednesday at lunch. New members are always welcome.
- Volleyball at lunch today in the small gym. BE there with the proper shoes.
- Grade 8 and 9 Outdoor club participants. See Mr. Willms in the counselling area if you are interested in ordering an OUTDOOR CLUB hoodie! The deadline for orders is coming up fast.
- Reminder to Grade 8 students... get your permission forms in for the trip to Sunoka Beach next week. You can put them in Mr. Willms’ mailbox.
