- Today in the Caf it is Pizza Day.
- Congratulations to Hugo and Zepher Pickel for winning the first annual SOSS pickleball championship. However, pickleball is NOT over...we will continue practicing Wednesdays at lunch with the goal of playing in a local tournament or possibly hosting our own. So please continue to come out at lunch on Wednesdays, and new players are always welcome.
- Attention SOSS Students, as we are rapidly approaching awards season, we need your help! Nominations are now open for YOU to put names forward for this year’s SOSS Citizenship Award – this award is aimed at recognizing someone who inspires and supports their peers through their actions and words. Ballots can be found with Ms. Koffler in the office, and the deadline is May 17th.
- Skateboard club trip is cancelled today. We will meet next week on Tuesday for the Summerland Skatepark trip.
- Hey SOSS! We are looking to see which grade can donate the most food for the 5055 food drive happening this week. There are carts in the front entrance for each grade. Bring in what you can! The winning grade will win a special breakfast May 10. Last day to donate is tomorrow!
- Let's pay it forward and brighten each other's days! Take a challenge from the board, do the challenge and write your name on the back of the card, then pass it to a friend. The more challenges you complete, the more likely you are to win the draw. Find the board by the fishbowls upstairs.
- Attention grads, the Oliver Elks bursary application is available in the office now. Applications are due Wednesday, May 8th!
- School-wide breakfast this Friday! Everybody welcome!
