1. OES Track Meet – The OES track meet is May 8th. Mr Basso is looking for 20-25 students to help with the various events that day. If you can help, please see Mr Podmorow.  

1. Pizza Day in the Caf it is Fettuccini Alfredo and Potato Bacon Soup. 

1. Hey, Grade 11’s!  We have decisions to make about your Grad Hoodies.  The digital prints are in, and we need your advice on edits. If you want a say on how your Grad hoodie will look be at the meeting on Tuesday April 30th, in room 105.    

1. Hey SOSS! We are looking to see which grade can donate the most food for the 5055 food drive happening next week. There will be carts in the front entrance for each grade. Bring in what you can! The winning grade will win a special breakfast May 10th 

1. This is a reminder that students should not be “playing” in the “U” while the Indigenous Garden is being created. Please be respectful of this space. 

1. Reminder to grads!  The Kiwanis Bursary and Health Auxiliary Bursary applications are due today by 3 PM!  
    

1. Don’t forget to try out our Pay it forward board, located by the fishbowls upstairs. This board is your gateway to spreading kindness throughout our school community. Take a challenge from the board, do the challenge and write your name on the back of the card, then pass it to a friend. Try to get two names on your card before you hand it into the library for a chance to win a sweet prize. The more challenges you complete, the more likely you are to win the draw.  The draw will take place on Friday, May 3rd. Join us in making kindness the norm at SOSS. Let's pay it forward and brighten each other's days!
