1. Work Experience Students – make sure you hand in your mid-term assignments by today!! See Mr. Kitt or Mrs. Burns if you have any questions 

1. Hey SOSS, have you seen the photos in the library of the Europe trip that took place over spring break? If you haven’t, go check out the library theatre bulletin board.  32 students spent 10 days exploring the Netherlands, Belgium and France on the trip of a lifetime. The planning for the next trip for March 2026 is already underway. Students currently in grade 9 and 10 who are interested in visiting France and Italy over Spring Break in 2026, there will be an informational meeting at lunch next Thursday in the library theater. See Mrs. Stopa or Mrs. G if you have any questions.  

1. Attention Grads, District Authority Scholarship applications are due today. Applications should be handed in to Mrs. Koffler in the office by 3PM! 

1. The April Wellness retreat is happening next Thursday, April 25th. Mental Health Group members please check your teams and let Mrs. Stopa know if you’d like to come. There are limited spots so don’t miss out! 

1. Grads – there is an important post regarding Prom 2024 on Teams. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please make sure you read this post and fill in the table!  

1. The term 3 Chopped Challenges for Foods 9/10 took place yesterday and what a challenge it was. In the D block class, the winners with their citrus, coconut blondies are Clohe, Christina and Kaeden. 2nd place was the citrus berry cheesecake by Maya, Neera and Dania and 3rd were the Ikea Swedish style meatballs by Zack, Flo and Liam. In Block C the winners are: in 1st place with their coconut lime tart are Hailey, Jaki and Piper! In 2nd place with their berry and citrus cheesecake are D, Jude, Sophie and Kenai and in 3rd with their grapefruit tart are Deepika, Jasreet, Haidyn and Anissa. A big thank you to our judges Killian, Kaeli, Chewy and Gavin. Well done everyone! 

1. If you’re a volleyball player or not...and you love to play the funnest game in the world... there will be open volleyball every Thursday at lunch in the small gym.  Bring proper shoes... no crocs or sandals please.  See Mr. Willms if you have questions!
