- The library is getting ready to make the last book order of the year. If you have a book you’ve been wanting to read please let us know so that we can add the title to our shelves. Or, if you have read an amazing book that you think that our library needs let us know so that others can enjoy.
- The Hornets Jr and Sr Ultimate teams travelled to Summerland for their first games of the season yesterday afternoon. The Jr squad started their season strong putting up wins against Summerland Jr and Osoyoos. The Sr team played a dominant game against Osoyoos but fell short against the Summerland Sr team. Way to go Hornets! Tomorrow SOSS will be hosting our annual Southern Flights Ultimate tournament. Games will be played on the top field and OES all day Friday and Saturday. There will be a concession stand selling snacks and drinks (cash only) so come out and support your team!
- The Grad class of 2024 invites you, your family and friends to a movie matinee on Sunday, April 14 at 2:00pm at the Oliver Theatre. The movie showing is Minions: Rise of Gru. Suggested price for admission is $5 per person or $20 per family. This is a fundraising event for the 2024 Grad class.
- There will be a Prom committee meeting today at lunch in Room 109B. We’ll be talking about Prom tickets and decorations. All interested grads are welcome to attend.
- Chess and Scrabble club at lunch time in Room 103 Learning Support room.
- Musical Theatre will meet today at lunch.
- The SOSS Rising Stars Spring Showcase is coming up next week! You won’t want to miss this amazing show featuring music and dance performances by some of our very talented students. Showtime is 7pm on Thursday, April 18 at Venables Theatre. Get your tickets at the box office or online.
- Tomorrow is a school wide breakfast! Come with smiles and appetites.
