Today in the Caf it is Poutine, Cesar Salad and Broccoli Cheddar Soup and tomorrow will be spaghetti and meatballs, pasta salad and Cream of Mushroom soup.

Want to learn to cook? Cooking Club is Starting October 13th in the Cafeteria with Mr.Dyer and Ms Frank. Every Friday from 3 –4 30pm Everyone Welcome!

Grade 11 and 12 students - Interested in a career in Corrections or policing? We've got someone coming from Oliver Correctional Centre today that will be presenting in Room 116 during the lunch hour. If you need CLC hours this is a great way to get one hour!! You're at school anyways...

We will be having our first set of emergency drills this upcoming Thursday. Procedures will be emailed to teachers and please review these at the start of D Block.

Sad news everyone. As Mr. Johnson failed a constitution check he is home sick today and thus D&D group is canceled. We will try to run the usual Tuesday groups (Mr. J’s and Ryder’s) Thursday afternoon. Thanks all.

The senior field hockey Hornets played four great games in Chilliwack last week, and improved in every area. They came home with two wins, a tie and a loss. Their forward line of Anabel, Ishmeet and Kate potted the goals, Kaylee was outstanding in net again, and the strong play of Kismet, Olivia Goncalves and Olivia Veenendaal made all the difference. The Hornets play at home this Saturday.

The Junior field hockey team played 4 great games in Chilliwack as well. This was their first attempt at full field hockey and they played so well. They came home with 2 ties and 2 losses. Meredith Lester was a strong hold in the defensive line. Vienna von Burg and Aloe Kendrick had an outstanding tournament where they played almost every minute in midfield. Audrey Noftle, Zoey Jones, and Florence Klimo played so well as a forward unit with many opportunities on net. Good jobs jrs.
