- Snack Shack is open every day! Come on down for a snack between 9:45 and 9:55.
- This is a reminder about the Holi (=whole-ee) event happening this Friday. For those who are participating and who have bought colored powder packets, remember to wear clothing that you don’t mind getting ruined with colored powder. Please refer to the posters posted around the school for more details regarding this event Friday.
- Volleyball in the small gym at lunch today.
- Hey SOSS, it is almost time for our annual spirit day. The date is set for Thursday, June 8. Let’s make it the most fun day possible by participating in the events that the spirit team has planned. The main event this year is a capture the flag tournament. Get your mixed team of 12 players in to Mrs. Podmorow ASAP. You need a minimum of five girls and seven boys to make a team. There will be one division for grade 8 and 9 – your team can have players from either grade. There will be a second division for Grade 10, 11 and 12. Let’s get ready to have some fun and make some great memories.
- A huge shout out to all of the participants, facilitators and student co-facilitators that took part in the Student Forum yesterday. It was an intellectually stimulating day with lots of talking points and measurable data that was collected. A survey will be distributed next week and students are encouraged to share their voice. Stay tuned for the results and actionable items moving forward.
