     Tuesday May 9, 2023 

1. Snack Shack is open every day. Come on down for a snack between 9:45 and 9:55. 

1. Today in the Caf it is Loaded Baked Potato wedges and Broccoli Cheddar Soup and tomorrow is Greek Chicken Bowls. 

1. The Student Voice Club meets at lunch today in room 207. All SOSS students are welcome to join the Student Voice club anytime. 

1. OES Track Meet – Mr. Mcallister at OES is looking for 15-20 volunteers to assist with the OES Track Meet on Wednesday, May 17th. The event runs all day. If you have permission to be absent from your classes that day and are interested in helping out, please see Mr. Podmorow.  

1. Hornet Homies – we will meet Wednesday at 11:15 in Ms Seymour’s science classroom, 117. We have visits to the elementary schools coming up and other topics to discuss such as the calendar.  

1. If there are any students interested in performing at the Semester End Show on June 21st please see Ms. Kingsfield or Mr. McKinnon to sign up. They’re looking for musical performances, as well as magic shows, skits, monologues, short story or poetry readings. 

1. Tomorrow is the last Grizzly crew and Sn’kip sisters! Meet in the gathering room for 12:05. 

1. In honor of Multicultural week at SOSS next week, The Student Voice club has planned a Holi event happening Friday May 26th. Holi is a traditional South Asian festival celebrated in India by throwing colored powder at each other. If you are interested in joining this spirit day event, you can sign up at lunch in front of the Zen den and buy your powder packets: 2 dollars for 2 packets. There is only space for 120 people, so sign-up and join in the fun!  Please refer to the HOLI posters posted around the school for more information.
