  1. No Caf service today as it is Early dismissal tomorrow is Pizza Day.  

 

  1. This week the Gr. 10 Provincial Numeracy assessments will be taking place in room 906 and 124. Please see the schedule that is posted outside of the Zen Den. See Mr. Burns or Mrs. Koffler is you have any questions. 

 

  1. Reminder to Mrs. Burns CLC 12 students that all assignments are due on Monday, May 1. 

 

  1. Today Shan is in the gathering room from 12 to 3 for OIB youth and community for homework club. Snacks will be provided.  

 

  1. Musical Theatre this Thursday at lunch. 

 

  1. Grade 9’s going to Gardom Lake...reminder that your final payment and your permission slip are all due on Monday, May 1st. After May 1st we will not add any more students to the list. If you are thinking of going, but haven’t signed up yet, see Ms. Koffler and/or Ms. Smith in the office for permission slips and information and sign up TO-DAY! Please see Ms. Smith if the May 1st payment is going to be a challenge for you or your family. Get your money and permission slips in ASAP! 

 

  1. The SOSS Soccer Team travelled to Penticton to play Maggie yesterday. They played a dominant game and ended up winning 3-2! The goals were scored by Charlie Ruck and Kate Noftle. They have won their last four games and they are heading to Merritt this weekend, where they are hoping to continue their success.  

 

  1. Girls and Boys interested in playing 3 on 3 get your teams into Mr. Basso as soon as possible. 

 

  1. Any Grads still wanting to purchase tickets to Prom please see Mrs. Wilkie today. Grads are only able to purchase today. Grade 11’s are able to purchase Prom tickets up until this Friday. 

 

  1. Friday May 5th the grads are having a bottle driver that will take place at the front of the school from 3-6. Grad volunteers are needed. Sign up sheet is posted outside Mrs. Burns office. Please support the grads by donating bottles. 

 

  1. Yearbooks are now on sale! See Mrs. Wilkie in the office or buy your copy online for only $20. The deadline to purchase is Monday May 8. Don’t be disappointed, make sure you buy yours today!
