- Attention all Grads & Grade 11’s – Prom tickets are on sale today at lunch at the top of the stairs by the office. This is for a limited time so get them while they're hot. This Wednesday is the deadline. The Prom Committee would also like to extend an invitation to grade 11’s to participate in prom this year. Tickets for grade 11’s will be available starting today. See Mr. Burns or Mrs. Harrington if you need further information.
- Reminder to Grade 11’s that the Grad Hoodie meeting is today at lunch.
- The Sr. Ultimate team travelled to Kelowna this past weekend to compete in the KSS invitational. The Hornet’s finished with a record of 2-3 after some tight games against Pleasant Valley, OKM, KSS, Immaculata and Summerland. Well done, Hornets! The team next travels to Summerland on Wednesday for games against Pen Hi and Summerland.
- Today in the Caf it is Perogies with bacon and Goulash Soup and tomorrow will be Chicken Fajitas with Veggies and Tortilla Soup.
- Reminder that skateboard club is today after school. Meet us in the back parking lot at 3PM for our trip to Summerland today.
- Volleyball in the small gym at lunch today.
- Anyone interested in practicing badminton skills, please arrive at the big gym right at the beginning of lunch ready.
- 3 on 3 basketball is coming. There will be 3 divisions: Girls grades 8-12, Recreational boys grades 8 and 9 and competitive boys grades 9-12. We will have a meeting tomorrow at the beginning of lunch in the gym. Teams must consist of 4 players, the games will be played during lunch starting at 11:25 on Tuesdays for Girls Division, Wednesdays for Competitive Boys Division and Fridays for Recreational Division. Get your teams together and come to the meeting tomorrow at lunch in the gym.
- There will be a mandatory meeting for Indigenous Grads in the Gathering Space today at lunch. We will be discussing our Grad Trip plans, voting for valedictorian, etc. Make sure to bring your own lunch and let Jessica, Tara, or Nick know if you cannot make it.
- D&D Club after school today. All groups playing today please come to room 103 (Learner’s Support) at the bell for a quick meeting.
- This week the Gr. 10 Provincial Numeracy assessments will be taking place in room 906 and 124. Please see the schedule that is posted outside of the Zen Den. See Mr. Burns or Mrs. Koffler is you have any questions.
- The Sr. Soccer team hosted a 12 team tournament with teams from all over BC. They finished with 3 wins, 1 tie and 1 loss which allowed them to win the consolation side with a goal deferential of plus 8. Emma Millward and Phi Thai received MVPs for our SOSS team. There was great effort by all, well done!
- Reminder to Mrs. Burns CLC 12 students that all assignments are due on Monday, May 1.
