  1. Today is the day to sign up for your shot at badminton greatness. Meet in Mr. Khodarahmi’s room at lunch to sign up for the one-day badminton tourney. 

 

  1. Skateboard club is back! Pick up permission forms outside Room 206. Everyone is welcome. Our first session is next week on Tuesday. Bring a skateboard and helmet. If you don’t have either but still want to skate, see Mr. McKinnon. 

 

  1. Today in the Caf it is Meatball Subs and Greek Salad.  There will be no Pizza tomorrow instead we will be having free Grilled Cheese. 

 

  1. Snklip sisters there is group today at 130 in gathering room.  

 

  1. Chess club starts again today at lunch in Room 109B.  Bring your lunch and your appetite for the ultimate brain battle!  If you’ve never played chess before – come out!  Someone will teach you! 

 

  1. Volleyball tomorrow at lunch in the small gym.  Bring your lunch, gym shoes and gym clothes 

 

  1. On April 17th and 18th from 3-4:30 in the art room there will be a special art club with visiting artist Jan Kreut teaching students how to create cyanotypes and encaustic art. Space is limited to 10 students, please sign up with Ms. Kingsfield if you are interested – sign up is based on a first come first served basis. There will be no regular art club on the 17th. 

 

  1. Attention Hornets! Continue to be on the look out for easter eggs hidden around the school! And for an extra special treat the first person to Teams Tara Havig the correct answer to the following, will win a treat! What country celebrates Easter with a Cockoo instead of an Easter bunny? 

 

  1. Attention all Gr. 10 and 12 students. Over the next two Thursdays you will be participating in the Student Learning Surveys in room 124 during C and D blocks. Teachers have been emailed the schedules and one is posted on the office window. For more information please see Mr. Burns. 

 

  1. The Grad class of 2023 is having a bottle drive this Saturday at the front of the school from 10-2:00 PM. If you have some bottles, and want to dispose of them to a worthy cause, please drop them off this Saturday. 

 

  1. Congrats to all the SOSS students who were recognized for their outstanding achievement last night at the South Okanagan Minor Hockey Association awards.
