  1. Today in the Caf it is Pizza Day and tomorrow will be Lemon Pesto Pasta and Potato Leek Soup. 

  

  1. “A Wop Bop A Loo Bop” begins today!! You can purchase your tickets online through the Venables theatre. Get your tickets asap you do not want to miss this show! Ok so here is your A Wop Bop A Loo Bop clue for today.... Tonight's the night at long last, The Pods have been busy, so has the cast. Who plays who, do you know? Figure it out and send a photo. Send Ms. Steeves your photos on Teams.

 

  1. Would you like to help in the welcoming and supporting of the NEW GRADE 8s to SOSS for next year? If you are already a hornet homie OR would like to become one, there is a meeting today at lunch in room 117. Speak to Ms Smith or Ms Seymour if you have questions. 

 

  1. Remember that there’s volleyball today at lunch in the small gym. Bring your PE clothes and gym shoes. 

 

  1. Mental Health Boost classes make sure to check Teams for important messages coming up. 

 

  1. Going Ice-fishing next Tuesday afternoon? Don’t forget to hand in your permission forms to Mr. Willms 

 

  1. Tomorrow there will be a Pancake Breakfast. The cost is very affordable...a thank you and a smile. Bonus points for using different languages for your thank you. See you in the Atrium for breakfast on Friday morning starting at 8:00.  

 

  1. Monday March 13th we will be having a presentation during lunch hour in the gathering space for Indigenous Students in grades 10-12. Are you interested in learning about how to save money? When and how to do taxes? How deductions on your cheques work? OIB Finance controller Joyce Lavalee is happy to answer any questions you may have about financial literacy. Lunch will be provided. We are also asking that all students attending OIB’s Spring Break Program please join as we will be sharing important information about the program. Limlemt. 

 

  1. The final set of the YDI surveys for Gr. 11 students is today during C Block in the tech building computer lab. Ms. Laver and Ms. McIntyre’s classes will be first at 12:05 and Mr. Hoffman and Mr. Wurflinger’s classes at 1:00.
