  1. No service in the Caf today as it is early dismissal.  Class are out at 11:57. Tomorrow will be Pizza Day. 

 

  1. No snack shack today. 
     
  1. Tickets for this year’s musical, “A Wop Bop A Loo Bop” are now on sale.  You can purchase them online through the Venables theatre, or you can purchase them here at the library.  The Show is March 9, 10, and 11th. 

 

  1. Denise Bowering, meditation specialist, is offering a 4-session meditation program for students and staff of SOSS.  It will be a combination of online and in person sessions starting Feb 23.  She is offering it free of charge to all students and staff.  Please see Ms. Setrakov if you are interested.  

 

  1. Mental Health Boost Grade 8 will meet downstairs in C and D block today. Check Teams. 

  

  1. Attention Musical Theatre students – there will be a rehearsal this Sunday from 10-2. Attendance is mandatory. Rehearsal today until 4:30, Thursday is until 5. 

 

  1. This semester a debate club is starting up at SOSS. If you are interested, join us in Ms. Shione’s classroom, at lunch, next Wednesday, March 1st. We hope to see you all there! Thank you.  

 

  1. Volleyball fun has again begun!! The small gym will be open at lunch on Mondays and Thursdays to all students who want to play volleyball. Bring your lunch, PE clothes and proper shoes! See or text Mr. Willms on TEAMS for further information.  

 

  1. If you are in grade 8 or 9, the outdoor club is planning its second event of the year! Ice-fishing is next on the slate for the beginning of March! Please see Mr. Willms to sign up and to get a permission form.  

 

  1. Are you a chess fanatic or enjoy other board games? Mr. Willms is considering sponsoring a chess/games club. If you’re interested, see him or message him on TEAMS to get your name on the list.  

 

  1. The Sr. girl's soccer team is having a mandatory meeting Friday at the start of lunch in Mr. Russo's science room (117) for girls grade 8-12 seriously interested in playing soccer this spring season. Preseason will begin next week, Tuesday, February 28th and Thursday March 2nd from 3-4:30pm in the big gym. Bring runners.
