  1. A reminder that there is no cafeteria service this week. Service will begin again on Tuesday February 7th Tomorrow is still Pizza Day and Pizza Day will be on Monday as well.. 

 

  1. Grade 9’s...the clock is ticking for Gardem Lake! Your $50 deposits are due by Wednesday February 1st. We need commitment from at least 75 of you in order to make the trip happen and as of right now we have commitment from a mere 43 students. We are working on fundraising to bring the overall cost down, but the $50 deposit is the commitment we need to get going on the fundraising. If we don’t have a $50 deposit from at least 75 students on Feb 1st, the trip will be cancelled. If the trip doesn’t happen your $50 will be reimbursed. Remind your families and remind each other to get your $50 in to Ms. Wilkie ASAP Please see Ms. Smith with any questions. 
     
  1. Calling all artists! The SOSS Skateboard Club is looking for a new logo and club name. Respect Record and Skate is offering a cool prize package to the winning design. The winning design will be featured on club swag. Submit your designs to Mr. McKinnon via email. Deadline for submissions is March 3rd. 

 

  1. Today is the Grizzly Crew group in the Gathering room. Please check in with your teacher at the beginning of D block for attendance then come to the gathering room for D block.  

 

  1. Snack Shack is open every day! Come on down for a snack between A & B block. 

 

  1. Mental Health Booster will start up again on Monday, Feb 6. Check Teams for meeting times. 

 

  1. Attention students: Tuc-El-Nuit Elementary School is looking for a student who can referee basketball from 2:45-3:45 on Tuesday February 7th. Please see Mr. Podmorow if interested. 

 

  1. The Grade 8 girls and boys basketball teams played games yesterday. The girls played hard and showed lots of heart but lost by 4 to Princeton. The boys came away with the win against Skaha Lake. Well done Hornets!
