  1. Art Club at 2:45 in the Art Room 

 

  1. Homework Club today 2:45-4:00pm at the Gathering Room open to all 

 

  1. Snack shack is open every day! Come on down for a snack between A & B Block 

 

  1. Yoga Club meets today after school in Room 204. All bodies are welcome!  

 

  1. Gr. 8 girls basketball practice today in the main gym from 3:00 – 4:30pm. 

 

  1. Today in the Caf it is Quesadillas with Green Salad and Cream of Mushroom Soup and tomorrow will be Moroccan Chicken Skewers, Pita Bread, Greek Salad and Cream of Broccoli Soup. 

 

  1. We will be holding Numeracy 10 and Literacy 10 and 12 assessments Tuesday January 24. Please see the list posted beside Mrs. Koffler’s desk for times and location for those taking the assessments.  

 

  1. The Semester End Celebration of Student Learning is this week ! Please join us for an evening of student entertainment, food and fun Wednesday January 18th from 5:30-7pm. Many student projects will be on display from a variety of grades and classes, all students, families and community members are welcome to attend. There will also be a senior boys basketball game that evening starting at 6:30. Hope to see you there! 

 

  1. Grade 9’s...listen up! It’s GO TIME for Gardem Lake. A $50 deposit is due by Wednesday February 1st. We need commitment from at least 75 of you in order to make the trip happen. We are working on fundraising to bring the overall cost down, but the $50 is the commitment we need to get going on the fundraising. If the trip doesn’t happen your $50 will be reimbursed. Emails went home to your families, but you need to remind your adults about it. Please see Ms. Smith with any questions.

 

  1.  There will be an Indigenous meeting today in the gathering space at lunch for grade 11’s and 12’s. Lunch will be provided and we have 2 guest speakers. Tyson Marsel from ONA fisheries and Jackie Stelkia from OIB community support! Please join us to discuss career opportunities and grad ideas.  

 

  1. There will be a meeting of the grade 8 and 9 outdoor club on January 18th in room 205 at lunch. If you signed up for rock climbing or would like to sign up for rock climbing, please attend this very important meeting at lunch on the 18th, room 205.  

 

  1. No D&D club today or tomorrow. We will have club next Monday and Tuesday.
