- Grade 8 Boys Basketball – All boys in Grade 8 who are interested in playing Grade 8 Boys Basketball are invited to the first practice of the year today from 5:30 – 7pm.
- The grade 8 girls volleyball team hosted the south Okanagan zone playoffs last night. The girls came out hitting, winning their semi-final match against Skaha Lake Middle School in straight sets. This set up a final match up against KVR middle school. The girls fell behind early and lost their first set 21-25. The second set was much closer and could have gone either way, but ultimately the girls lost 24-26. Congratulations on your second-place finish girls, what an excellent season it was!
- Attention athletes wanting to play ultimate frisbee in the spring, there will be a meeting today at lunchtime in the gymnasium. Ultimate is open to both male and female athletes, so come out and bring a friend!
- The Night in Hollywood dance is coming up on November 24th. Don’t forget to get your tickets at lunch in front of the Zen Den. Tickets are $8.
- For any Grade 8 girls interested in playing basketball this year, there will be a meeting in Room 105 (Mrs. Seminoff’s room) today at lunch.
- A reminder for the Sr. Girls vball team to get your permission forms into Mr. Burns’ mailbox and pay Ms. Wilkie in the office by today.
- Snack Shack is open every day. Come on down for a snack between A & B Block.
- Cold and Flu season is upon us in a big way! To keep our community healthy please wash or sanitize your hands several times a day. If you are sick, we’ll miss you, but we want you to stay home until you are feeling well. Connect with your teachers via teams while you get healthy at home.
- Grade 10 students – please return your signed Career Fair permission forms to your Block A teacher as soon as possible. Extra forms are in the office if needed.
- Remember D&D club will be Monday afterschool next week (Nov. 21) and there will be no D&D club on Tuesday next week (Nov. 22).
