  Grads, do you know how to apply for university or college? There will be a tutorial on Tuesday November 15th to show you the tools needed to apply. Sign-up sheets are on the counselling window by the breakfast cart.  

 

1. Art Club at 2:45 in the Art Room. 

 

1. Homework Club today 2:45-4:00pm at the Gathering Room open to all. 

 

1. Snack shack is open every day! Come on down for a snack between A & B Block. 

 

1. Yoga Club meets today after school in Room 204. All bodies are welcome! 

 

1. Today in the Caf it is Tacos and Mexi Fries and tomorrow will be Chicken Burgers and Fries. 

 

1. Hello SOSS, Link crew is hosting a night in Hollywood dance on Thursday November 24th, tickets will be on sale starting today, Tuesday November 8th till Thursday November 24th. We’re selling VIP tickets for 12 dollars and regular admission tickets for 8 dollars. There are only 40 VIP tickets available so make sure you get your tickets soon! Just a quick reminder, you must attend school on the day of the dance in order to attend the dance. 

 

1. This is a message for students who are taking Foods 9/10 this semester and for all students who are registered in a French course this year – there will be a meeting today in block C in the library. Teachers – please excuse these Foods 9/10 and all French students from your class today in block C when they are called down by grade. Thank you.  

 

1. The first Chopped Challenges of the year have taken place in Ms. Frank’s Foods 9/10 classes! We are very excited to announce the winners! In block D, the winners are Tia Simpson, JJ Larose, Nicole Rea and their fearless EA Jessica Reynolds. Well done! In block C, the winners are Ashton Portelance, Chayton Fredrick-Vala, Ryley Weinberger and Teoh Ransinangue-Novak. It was a very close race and both classes produced some amazing dishes! Thank you to our judges Chewy Ferguson, Alex Weisheit, Ronin Van Geest and Mr. Dyer! 

 

1. Work Experience students – hand your assignments in to Mrs. Burns asap. They are overdue!  

 

1. Good News Everyone! D&D Club tomorrow after school – meet up on the second floor by the fishbowls. Bad news – there will be no Monday club today... Mr. Johnson is very sorry... 

 

1. For all Gr. 8 Technology Explorations students, if you were not able to finish your truck last week Mr. Baptiste will have the wood shop open today and tomorrow at lunch if you would like to finish it.  

 

1. Stick games at lunch in the gathering room, all are welcome! 

 

1. Deadline for the Legion poster contest is Tuesday, November 15th.  Please hand in entries to the office by 8:30 AM Tuesday.
