- Grads, do you know how to apply for university or college? There will be tutorials on Wednesday November 9 and Tuesday November 15th to show you the tools needed to apply. Sign-up sheets are on the counselling window by the breakfast cart.
- Today is Snklip sisters group at 1:15pm in the Gathering room. This is our first meeting, please make sure you have your forms returned.
- The grade 8 girls volleyball team travelled to Osoyoos last night for games against Osoyoos Secondary and Princeton Secondary. The girls came out buzzing against the rattlers completing a straight set victory against a strong team. Their next game against Princeton was another dominant performance in the first set. The girls fell into a large hole during the second set, trailing Princeton 4-16. The girls rallied after some fantastic serving and finished their comeback securing the top seed heading into the playoffs. Excellent work Hornet’s see you here at home for the playoffs!
- Grade 12’s writing the Literacy Assessment today check the schedule posted on Mrs. Schori’s window to see when and where you write.
- We will have a “Beyond the Blues” event at lunchtime on Wednesday November 9th in the atrium! There will be games, trivia, prizes, and information on depression, anxiety and risky drinking! There will be opportunities for self-screeners and resources available in our community.
- Sign up for drum group in the gathering room, first practice for Remembrance Day assembly will be this Friday (please keep up until Weds)
- There will be a meeting at lunch on Thursday for students going on the QUEBEC TRIP. Bring your lunch to room 207.
- Today in the Caf it is Chicken Pot Pies with Mashed Potatoes and tomorrow is Pizza Day.

- Grade 8 Boys Volleyball – Last night the Grade 8 Boys Volleyball team hosted KVR and Summerland Middle School. Despite being down at least 5 players due to illness, the boys played well as a team and persevered to defeat both KVR and Summerland in 3rd set tie breakers. Congratulations on the solid team effort! Next Tuesday the Gr 8 Boys travel to Summerland Middle School to play in the South Zone semi-final vs #2 ranked Summerland. Good luck boys!
