Announcements September 27, 2022

SOUTHERN OKANAGAN SECONDARY SCHOOL 

                    Tuesday September 27, 2022. 
 

1. Attention all Students with Indigenous Ancestry: If you are interested in signing up for Grizzly Crew group or Snklip Crew group formally known as Boys and Girls group, please come to the gathering room and grab a form and sign up. You must have a form filled out by a parent or guardian if you want to participate. You have until September 29th to sign up. All forms must be handed in no later than Monday October 3rd. 

1. Today in the Caf it is Bannock Tacos and there is no service tomorrow as it is Inquiry Day. 

1. The Student Voice Club meets at lunch in room 207. 

1. CLC Assignment #1 is due Wednesday. Please submit it to Mrs. Burns on Teams if you haven’t  

done so already. 

1. Listen up Hornet Homies! All Hornet Homies...there will be a VERY IMPORTANT meeting this coming Thursday at lunch in room 117. If you have come to any meetings this year or last, you should be a part of the Teams group. Please check your Teams ASAP and let Ms Seymour know if you’re not on it, or if you are on the Team, but are not longer able to be a Homie and she will remove you. Thanks and see you Thursday. Spread the word amongst your fellow Hornet Homies 

1. The Junior Field Hockey team plays their first full field game of the season today at 4pm. Come cheer them on as they take on Summerland. 

1. Musical Theatre this Thursday at lunch in the Drama Room. 

1. Any students who would like to get some volunteer hours please see Mrs. Pod ASAP.
