- Attention SOSS, tonight is the welcome back BBQ!! Bring your families for a tour around the school and some hotdogs and drinks.
- Volleyball practices today: Grade 8 girls at 3pm in the Main Gym
- Sr. Girls vball practice tomorrow 4 – 6:00 PM. Please get your forms into Mr. Burns and fees to Mrs. Wilkie in the office ASAP or else you will not be able to attend the Merritt tournament.
- Attention Musical Theatre students, there is a Mandatory Meeting at lunch in the Drama Room. Bring your lunch!
- Today in the Caf it is Beef Quesadillas and Tortilla Soup and tomorrow is Pizza Day.
- Today is the last day for Indigenous Students to sign up to be Student reps. Voting will be on Thursday and the reps will be announced on Friday. If you are interested in signing up or need more information please come to the gathering room and see Shan or Tara.
- Our Gay-Straight-Alliance club is starting back up on Friday! Come to Ms. Shione’s room, room 205, at lunch to meet members of your community and allies! SAGA is looking forward to having new members join and providing extra fun opportunities this year!
- Roll for initiative! If you like D&D, or you are interested in learning about D&D (you know, the game they play on Stranger Things), come down to Room 907 (aka The Dungeon) on Thursday, September 15 at Lunch for a meeting. Beginners welcome! See Mr. Johnson for more info.
- Hornet Homies are meeting today at lunch in room 117 (same room as last year). All grade 9-12 students are welcome to join. Our goal for today is to set up our first activity with our grade 8s!
- Field hockey practice for the senior team today; Juniors enjoy your day off!
