- Attention SOSS...there will be a welcome back BBQ open to all students and their families this Wednesday, September 14 from 5-7 in the Atrium. There will be Hot Dogs and entertainment. Hope to see you all there.
- Volleyball practices today: Grade 8 Girls and Grade 8 boys at 3 in the Main Gym, Senior Girls at 4:30, and Senior boys at 4:30 in the small gym.
- Cafeteria service starts today! Prices have changed for the year. Entrees will now be $5.00, Soups will be $4.00 for a large and $3.00 for a small and desserts, biscuits and drinks will be $1.00. Today in the Caf it will be Grilled Cheese with Cesar Salad and Tomato Basil Soup and tomorrow will be Chili with biscuits. As always these are subject to change.
- Way’. Indigenous Student rep sign up has started in the gathering room. If you are interested in knowing more about what it means to be an Indigenous student rep, please come and see us to sign up in the Gathering room. Students will be voted in by their peers. Lim Lim’t.
- Art club is starting next week after school on Mondays in the art room from 2:45 – 4:15. See Ms. Kingsfield for more information.
- Calling all grade 9-12s interested in helping our new grade 8s get settled and feel welcome. Come join the Hornet Homies – meeting Wednesday in room 117 (same room as last year). Bring your lunch and we will plan our first get together with the grade 8s!
- Reminder of field hockey practice today after school for both junior and senior teams!
- Jr Girls Volleyball – Gr 9 and 10 Girls who are interested in playing Jr Girls Volleyball are invited to the next tryout session today from 6-7:30pm.
