- Skateboard club is back! Please pick up a permission form from Mr. McKinnon outside Room 206. All skaters must meet with Mr. McKinnon before our first trip Tuesday, September 13th. Bring your skateboard or scooter and a helmet. Beginners welcome.
- Attention grade 10-12 students who are interested in becoming a Healthcare Volunteer! Applications and information are available from Mrs. Koffler in the office. The deadline to apply is September 30th.
- Musical Theatre class will begin next Wednesday at lunch in the Drama room. Please bring your lunch. Attendance is mandatory. Check the bulletin board outside the drama room for information.
- Attention SOSS...there will be a welcome back BBQ open to all students and their families on Wednesday, September 14 from 5-7 in the Atrium. There will be Hot Dogs and entertainment. Hope to see you all there.
- Any students interested in helping out with technical duties in the theater for the upcoming Youth Ambassadors evening, please see Mr. Kitt in the counselling center.
- Any students interested in Gateway to Tech... a really cool opportunity with a computer course at Okanagan College... see Mr. Kitt for details. The program starts soon.
- Gr 8 Boys Volleyball – All boys in Gr 8 who are interested in playing Gr 8 Boys Volleyball are invited to the next practice on Monday at 3 pm.
- It’s school photo day for students and staff, we will begin calling students down to the small gym by grade following the announcements.
- Cafeteria service starts on next week! Prices have changed for the year. Entrees will now be $5.00, Soups will be $4.00 for a large and $3.00 for a small and desserts, biscuits and drinks will be $1.00. On Monday it will be Grilled Cheese with Cesar Salad and Tomato Basil Soup and Tuesday will be Chili with biscuits. As always these are subject to change.
