SOUTHERN OKANAGAN SECONDARY SCHOOL 

                     Tuesday May 17, 2022. 

 

1. The Student Voice Club meets at lunch today in room 207. 

 

1. Today is homework club in the gathering room from 2:45 to 3:45 

 

1. Debate club will be meeting in Ms. Shione’s room after school in room 205 from 2:45-3:15.  

 

1. Please remember to sign your team up for the Quidditch tournament. Sign up is by the PE office! 

 

1. There are messages in the Library for Kate Noftle, Jonathan Thomas, Phat Thai, Jessie Dhillon and Brian Warkentin. 

 

1. Today in the Caf it is Chicken/Beef Tacos, Pico de Gallo with Nachos and Churros and tomorrow will be Cobb Salads, Grab and Go Snacks and Baked Goods. 

 

1. Reminder to Indigenous grads. Your permission forms for lunch need to be brought to the gathering room this week. 

 

1. Attention SOSS, the Yearbook for 2021-22 is now on sale! You can purchase them online for $20.00 or see Ms. Wilkie in the Accounting office to pay. 

 

1. Indigenous students please stop by the Gathering Room Wednesday at lunch for a quick survey, lunch will be provided! 

 

1. Today is the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. This day was created in 2004 to draw attention to the violence and discrimination experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex people, and all others with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics. Today and everyday, don’t be a bystander be an upstander!
