- The Student Voice Club meets at lunch today in room 207.
- Today is homework club in the gathering room from 2:45 to 3:45
- Skateboard club is rescheduled to next week.
- Attention all grade 8 through 11s. Ms Smith and Ms Seymour will be hosting another gathering of all those interested in co-creating and facilitating the incoming Grade 8 buddy system. Task #1 – creating a cooler name! Join us Wednesday in room 117 (in the Science area) to resolve this and other pressing issues to help our incoming Grade 8s feel welcome at SOSS. All are invited to join!
- Today in the Caf it is Cobb Salad, baked penne and tomorrow will be Duck Ramen and Pulled Pork with Coleslaw.
- There will be a brief meeting on Wednesday at lunch in Mrs. Stopa’s room for students interested in going on the Europe Trip or French trip in 2024.
- Musical Theatre class on Thursday at lunch. Attendance is mandatory.
- Students interested in debating, please come to Ms. Shione’s room (room 205) after school tomorrow to talk about organizing a formal debate club at our school.
- Do you know someone who inspires and supports their peers through their actions and words? As some of you know, it is award season around SOSS and we are looking to recognize those students who make this place a great place for staff and students alike. The 2021-22 Citizenship Award is open for nominations – nomination forms, including the finer details and the full criteria can be found in the office with Ms. Koffler. The deadline for nomination is Friday May 20th. This is an award that has a long tradition and is held in high regard at SOSS, we ask that all nominators keep that in mind when they put names forward.
- Grads of 2022, now on the Teams chat are two links, one for the most likely tos/superlatives, and another one for grad write-ups/quotes, both are for yearbook. They're both due on May 13th. Direct all questions to Katie Cleave.
