SOUTHERN OKANAGAN SECONDARY SCHOOL
Tuesday April 19, 2022.
- Starting at lunch on Wednesday, April 20th there will be pickleball intermurals every Monday and Wednesday at lunch in the big gym. We will do a couple of weeks of practice and then run a competition bracket. Everyone is welcome.
- The Student Voice Club meets at lunch today in room 207.
- The Hornets Ultimate team competed against Pen Hi Thursday afternoon. The young squad faced off against a senior roster and went into a 5 – 0 hole early in the game. The Hornets dug deep and battled back to make the score 6 – 5 for the away squad. In the end, the final score was 9 – 6 for Pen Hi, but overall, a strong effort was displayed by all hornet athletes. Reminder of practice today after school 3:00 – 4:30 pm.
- Today in the Caf it is Fettuccini Alfredo and French Onion Soup and tomorrow is snacks.
- PROM ANNOUNCEMENT: Attention grads of SOSS!! Prom tickets will be on sale starting today at lunch by the Zen Den. Tickets are $65 dollars and will be sold every day this week. They are for Grads and their dates only. Please contact a member of the Grad Committee with any questions. We hope to see you there!
