- The Band Room will not be open this week at lunch for students.
- The Student Voice Club is holding their annual SHE-DRIVE with a contest to “guess the candies in the jar”. The winner takes home the jar of candies! The club is supporting the South Okanagan Women in Need with this fundraiser. Buy your GUESSES at lunch in the front foyer by the trophy cases.
- Today is homework club in the gathering room from 2:45 to 4:00.
- Today in the Gathering Room at Lunch is Beading!!! Please join if you’re interested! It’s every Tuesday!
- Grads of 2022!! Today is the last day to get your Bursary and Scholarship applications into the office. The MUST be to Mrs. Koffler in the office by not later then 3pm today.
- Hornet Spirit Day! – Hey SOSS Staff and Students let's show our Hornet Pride and wear our green and gold on Wednesday as we send off the Gr 8 Girls and Boys Basketball teams to the provincial championships in Abbotsford. Go Hornets!!
- Gr. 8 boys bball practice today 3-4:30 PM
- Double Ball and Stick Games district tournaments are coming up! Sign up and information is outside the Gathering Room, all are welcome!
- Today in the Caf it is Cobb Salads, grilled cheese for $2 and chocolate pudding and tomorrow is Chicken Bacon Ranch or Veggie Wraps and Chicken Gnocchi Soup.
- Now for a special announcement for all staff of SOSS... Ms. Seymour you have been voted off the island.
- Hey SOSS – the musical production of Oliver! is approaching quickly. Tickets are now on sale and are available here at SOSS in the library. The production is March 10-12. Get your tickets soon! It is going to be an amazing show!
- Grad photos will take place in Room 122 in the Tech Building all this week. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes early for your appointment. Before leaving room 122, record your height on the list by the door. We need accurate heights to order your grad gowns!!
