- The winner of best selfie with our school elf is a link crew boss and true hornet Shael Narayan, please come down to the office to receive your prize. This week’s challenge is the third person to spot the elf and send in their photos to Gina Houle on teams wins a prize.
- The winner of last week’s classroom challenge for the best festive video was Ms. Frank’s foods 8 class. Congratulations!
- Term 1 art students most of your artwork is out of the display cabinets and ready to pick up in the art room. Please come to the art room by the end of class on Wednesday to pick up your stuff.
- Today in the Caf it is Chicken and Mozza melts with potato wedges and Loaded Baked Potato Soup, Wednesday will be Burritos and Chicken Tortilla Soup and Friday is Pizza.
- Block A Classes can show their Holiday spirit by participating in the Christmas Classroom Decorating Contest, sponsored by Student Voice. Earn bonus points by including polar bears and Christmas trees in your decorating and by dressing up for the judging on Wednesday morning. The winning class will get a pizza lunch and the runner-up will get donuts!
- Tomorrow is our School wide for all staff and students FREE Fry Bread Indigenous Taco Lunch!!!! It begins at the beginning of lunch Tuesday! TACO TUESDAY!!!! Everyone is welcome!
- The band room will be closed this week at lunchtime. See you in the new year.
- Gr. 8 Boys bball practice today 3-4:30 in the small gym.
- Congratulations to the junior girls basketball team on their second place finish this weekend. The team had a hard fought win against Immaculata in the first game. In the second they trailed by 3 at half. In the third they went on a 13 to 0 run to take control of the game. The team lost to in the final to VSS one of the top teams in the valley. The girls only gave up 24 points, shutting out VSS in the forth.
