SOUTHERN OKANAGAN SECONDARY SCHOOL 

               Thursday November 18, 2021. 

1. The Band Room will be open today at lunch for students. 

1. There will be homework club in the gathering room from 2:45 to 4:00. 

1. Snack Shack will be open today at lunch and tomorrow is Pizza Day. 

1. Sr Girls Basketball – All girls in Gr 11 and 12 who are interested in playing Sr Girls Basketball are asked to attend a meeting today at 11:15 in the small gym. Please be on time for this mandatory meeting.  

1. Basketball practices today - Grade 8 boys basketball at 3 in the big gym and see Mr. Burns if you cannot attend, Grade 8 girls basketball at 3, Junior boys at 6 and Senior boys basketball at 4:30. 

1. Would the following beautiful people please see Ms. Smith before the end of first period...and she promises she will be there...Lilah Smith and Cassandra Morse. 
    

1. Grads...We hear that some of you are feeling overwhelmed and overstressed with school, the processes of applying for post-secondary, managing courses, managing demands of grade 12, CLC, etc. Your grad mentors are holding a meeting next Thursday, November 25 to try and help you with some of these struggles. This will be a lunch time meeting so please sign up in the office as we’ll supply pizza. This meeting is for you to try to help to alleviate some of your stress. 

1. Ms. Martins Quarter 1 Food Studies 9/10 Block C class, if you would like your placemats from the term please come and pick them up in Room 908 or let Ms. Martins know as soon as possible, and she will keep them for you until you are able to come and pick them up!
