SOUTHERN OKANAGAN SECONDARY SCHOOL 

               Thursday November 4, 2021. 

1. All Grade 9 and 10 girls playing basketball this year must meet in room 104 today at lunch.  All potential players must attend. 
    

1. Reminder that Musical Theatre Auditions for Grade 8 & 9 Students is today at 3pm.  The next musical theatre class will be November 10th at Lunch time.  Remember that attendance is mandatory!    

1. Scorekeepers are really needed for Gr 9 and Jr Girls Volleyball games today.  Please see Ava Podmorow if you can help out. 

1. Today is homework club in the gathering room from 2:45 to 4:00. 

1. Today in the Caf it is Greek Donair Wraps and Loaded Baked Potato Soup. 

1. Okanagan College is hosting an open house this evening from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Penticton Campus.  All grade 11 and 12 students are welcome.  Please see the poster in the counselling area for details. 

1. A notice to all the 2022 Grads. There will be a Teams Grad parent meeting next Tuesday November 9th @ 7:00 PM. Please log into your Teams account and have your parents present for the meeting. 

1. The Elbow Bump Campaign is Back and is for all students and staff who want to elbow bump anyone in our SOSS community. If you would like to celebrate, thank, or appreciate someone for their kindness, accomplishments, support, personal triumphs, etc. then please see Ms. Smith or Mr. Burns to make a plan to Elbow Bump your deserving recipient. Let’s celebrate the awesomeness that is happening around us every day! (please read Thursday and Friday this week) 

1. All field hockey players are reminded to return jerseys and all borrowed equipment (sticks, gloves, shinpads etc ) to Mrs Lang as soon as possible.
