SOUTHERN OKANAGAN SECONDARY SCHOOL 

Tuesday, September 28, 2021. 

1. Truth and Reconciliation Day is coming up tomorrow.  We have Orange Shirts for sale for $18 and buttons for $2.  Please see Miss Matthews in the office to purchase your shirts and buttons. 

1. Today we will have a special menu to honor Truth and Reconciliation Day.  We will have Bannock Tacos, vegetarian chili and berry/herb ice cream for $4.00. 

1. Band room will be open for students at lunch time today. 

1. Grade eights interested in this years performance, please join Mrs. Pod and some musical theatre students today in the Drama Room at lunch to hear all about being a part of the show. 

1. Junior Girls volleyball at 3 today, Senior Girls and Boys at 4:30.  

1. Junior Field hockey players are reminded of practice today after school. Senior field hockey players have the day off. 

1. All grade 9 girls interested in exploring the game of basketball please come for a very short meeting today at lunch in room 104. 

1. Writing club today after school in Ms. Shione’s room (room 205) from 2:45-3:45!
