  1. Are you a leadership student with lifeguard certification willing to join two elementary school classes for an organized paddleboard field trip Wed. June 23rd in Penticton? Please see Ms. Smith if you’re interested. 

 

  1. Ultimate Frisbee practice today after school @ 3:00 – 4:30pm. Reminder to bring in your $30.00 for practice jerseys.  

 

  1. A reminder to grads that grad fees are due and should be paid to Miss Matthews in the accounting office. Come see Miss Matthews any time with inquiries. 

 

  1. Get your yearbook order in this week for only $20!  Orders must be in by this Friday May 21st and no late orders will be accepted.  Please see Miss Matthews in the office or pay online.  Please also keep in mind that you can continue adding your photos to the yearbook until the Friday through the yearbook page on the school website, or by emailing them to Mr. Schulting. 

 

  1. May is Asian Heritage Month.  The Student Voice Club is raising awareness about the positive contributions made by Asian cultures in Canada. The focus this month is on 3 areas to help celebrate our diversity: "Recognition, Resilience and Resolve"The club reminds us to be active, be aware, and be accepting of others.  
     
  1. Grads of 2021...The Grad Committee will be meeting today at lunch in room 104.  And also Grads due dates for baby pictures is Friday or else...... 

 

  1. Tomorrow in the Caf it will be Pulled Pork and Corn Chowder. 

 

  1. Those grade 11 students that have been working on their CLE B outside of the timetable with Mr. Heinrichs, please check the main page of your SOSS CLE B team for an important update. Please see Ms. Seymour in the counseling area with any questions regarding your CLE B course.  (All week please) 

 

  1. For all past EPIC students interested in ordering a hoody, could you please see Mr. Baptiste today at lunch in the EPIC classroom to place your order. (All Week please) 

 

  1. Grads of 2021....tomorrow is LUAU DAY! Tomorrow at lunch in the U we will have games, prizes, dancing, FOOD and of course loads of fun. Hawaiian dress is absolutely encouraged (school appropriate of course). See you on the Island Grads!
