  1. Ultimate Frisbee practice today after school from 3:00 – 4:30pm.  This fun game is open to all students and genders.  So come on out and bring a friend. Players make sure to bring in your $30.00 for practice jerseys. 

 

  1. The Elbow Bump Campaign continues. If you would like to give someone an elbow bump, please see Ms. Smith to make a plan to Elbow Bump a deserving individual. We can celebrate a great test result, improvements in class engagement, random acts of kindness, a great attitude or effort in class, overcoming a challenge, and any kind of general awesomeness! Everyone in the building is invited to share in this campaign to celebrate and recognize the awesomeness happening around us everyday! 

 

  1. Grad committee meeting is postponed until later in the week. 

 

  1. Tomorrow in the Caf it will be Crepes and Yogurt Parfaits and Friday will be Pulled Pork and Corn Chowder. 

 

  1. Get your yearbook order in this week for only $20!  Orders must be in by this Friday May 21st and no late orders will be accepted.  Please see Miss Matthews in the office or pay online.  Please also keep in mind that you can continue adding your photos to the yearbook until the Friday through the yearbook page on the school website, or by emailing them to Mr. Schulting. 

 

  1. The Amazing Scavenger Race continues TODAY!  This morning, all grade 10’s who are signed up must attend their A Block class for attendance, then meet at the front entrance at 9:45 to head to our destination.  Grade 9’s - your race is this afternoon.  Please go to your B Block for attendance and then meet at the front entrance at 12:15.  Make sure at least one person in your group has a phone with them.  Get ready for some fun.   

 

  1. May is Asian Heritage Month.  The Student Voice Club is raising awareness about the positive contributions made by Asian cultures in Canada. The focus this month is on 3 areas to help celebrate our diversity: "Recognition, Resilience and Resolve". The club reminds us to be active, be aware, and be accepting of others.  
     
  1. Today is She, they and Gay skate club!!! See you all at the skate park at 3pm, today we are going to go somewhere new after we meet at the park!
