  1. Skateboard Club is back! Anyone who wants to come skating should pick up a permission form outside Room 206 and return ASAP. First trip will be this Wednesday. See Mr. McKinnon for details. 

 

  1. The Elbow Bump Campaign continues. If you would like to give someone an elbow bump, please see Ms. Smith or Mr. Heinrichs to make a plan for a deserving individual. We can celebrate a great test result, improvements in class engagement, random acts of kindness, a great attitude or effort in class, overcoming a challenge, and any kind of general awesomeness!  All staff and students in the building are invited to share in this campaign to celebrate and recognize the great things happening around us everyday! 

 

  1. Attention Grads, meat and flower fundraiser order forms are now available in the office.  Order deadline is   April 19th. Stop in and pick up some order forms today. 

 

  1. Grad scholarship applications are available in the office for the District Authority Scholarship and the South Okanagan Health Care Scholarships. 

 

  1. This is the last week for basketball in the gym at lunch.   

 

  1. Anyone interested in playing tennis this year, the first practice is on Wednesday from 3-4:30 down at the community tennis courts. All grades and all levels are welcome. 

 

  1. Attention Ultimate Frisbee Players. There will be a meeting today at the beginning of lunch in room 103 for interested athletes of all grade levels.  

 

  1. Tomorrow in the Caf it is Mac & Cheese and Friday will be Chow Mein and Ginger Fried Beef. 

 

  1. Hey SOSS, Link Crew is planning a Springtime spirit week from April 12th to April 16th.  There will be a winner for each day: Monday will be Floral Day, Tuesday will be Neon Day, Wednesday will be Tacky Tourist day, Thursday will be Jersey Day and Friday will be Spring Formal Day. 

  1. This Wednesday at lunch in the Gathering room we are having an Indigenous Grad Mentorship Meeting. Please meet in the Gathering room at 11:11am.  Lunch will be provided. 
     
  1. Shan’s skate club is meeting after school today in the gathering room for a brief information session.  You don’t need to know how to skate to be involved! This club is for She’s, They’s and Gay’s!  Don’t be shy! It’s never to late to try something new!
