  1. Grade girls basketball at 3 Grade 8 boys basketball at 4:30.

  1. Grads of 2021...The Francis Family Scholarship information sheet is now available in the office. You must prepare a portfolio and it will take some time. Your portfolio is due Friday, May 14. Please pick up an information sheet from Mrs. Koffler in the office. 
     
  1. Due to the new rules The Gathering Room will be open for the first 10 minutes of Lunch and closed for the rest of the Lunch break until the last 5 minutes of lunch.  Please grab a snack and say hi at the beginning or end of lunch only. We cannot have students coming and going from the room at all. Thank you.  

 

  1. Homework Club is in the Gathering Room from 2:45pm-4:00pm, all are welcome! 

 

  1. After school Shan from the Gathering Room will be offering a smudge to anyone who would like to join.  We will be outside the front door by the Drama room.  If you are interested, please make sure your mask is on and we are practicing social distancing. 

 

  1. Today SAGA is hosting a guest speaker via Zoom. Melisa is from the Foundry in Penticton and is going to be talking about resources and support available to LGBTQ+ youth. Please come to Ms. Shione’s room at 11:20 on Friday! 

 

  1. Hey SOSS! Yearbook construction is still in motion! Please remember that you can continue submitting all your fun photos through the yearbook page on our school website. Let’s make this year’s yearbook memorable!” 

 

  1. Grade 9 immunizations have been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 10th           

 

  1. Today in the Caf it is Breakfast Sandwiches and Hashbrowns. 

 

  1. Student Voice is sponsoring a Mental Health Awareness Week March 1-5th.  Midterm time can be stressful and its important that we take care of our mental health and know where to go for support and information.  Listen for the Mental Health Awareness trivia questions during next week’s announcements, then put your answers in the box in the Library.  A winner will be drawn each day and awesome prizes will be awarded! 

 

  1. Student Voice members who are helping with the “She Drive” and “Mental Health Awareness Week” need to meet in Ms. Scott’s room today at lunch.
