  1. Winners fobest selfie with Ms. Hornet are Lavreen Deol and Charvi GillPlease come down to the office to receive your prizes. This weeks challenge is the most creative selfie gets the prize! The winner will have the choice to move Ms. Hornet after school, please say yes, I would like to participate in moving Ms. Hornet or No thank you when you send in your selfie to Mrs. Stopa!!  

 

  1. Attention fashionistas!  Hurry to get your S.O.S.S. hoodie, sweatpants, socks and T-Shirts The S.O.S.S. SALE for school clothing MERCH is extended to Thursday morning at 8:30!  Order your Hornet MERCH online before Thursday morning!  Go to the school website to order, or you can pick up an order form in the office. Get your S.O.S.S. hoodie, sweatpants, socks and T-Shirt orders in before this Thursday to the main office!  

 

  1. This is the last week for our Grade wide Food drive.   Rally your grade and bring some food in for the food bank!  Bring your non-perishable food items to the Library to add to your grades food tree.  The tallest tree will win great prizes!! 

 

  1. Homework club after school in the Gathering Room until 4pm.  All are welcome. 

 

  1. GRADS...Gentle reminder that your CLC/Capstone assignments are all due at the end of January except for your Personal Pitch which you will need to present in February. The winter break is a great time to put in a few hours and check this off your ‘To-Do’ list. Remember, this is a 4-credit grad requirement that you need to give some attention to. All info is on Teams as well as the grad board in the library. See Ms. Smith with any questions and Get Going! 

 

  1. Also Grads...Grad Hoodies are for sale at lunch in the Library.  Get yours today they are $65.00 and come with your name son them.  See Amy Tite with any questions. 

 

  1. Grade 9 Basketball practice takes place on Wednesday from 4:30 - 6:00 and Thursday from 3:00 - 4:30. Both boys and girls are welcome.    

 

  1. Today  in the Caf it is Macaroni & Cheese and Tomato Basil Soup. 

 

  1. Grade 9 and grade 11 students...please make sure the balls are all sanitized and away today. If they are left out like they were yesterday, then they will have to stay in the equipment room for a few days. Please take care of your business. Thanks.

Congratulations to Sam Williams who was the first one to guess yesterdays question correct.  Now for today’s advent calendar question, todays is for the Grade 11s only the Grade 11s can participate in todays question and remember that if you have already won a prize, you will not qualify to win again:  In Oaxaca City, Mexico, Noche de rabanos is celebrated every 23rd of December.  Which food gives this festival its name?
