1. Grade 8 Girls basketball today afterschool in the Main gym. 

1. SAGA club today in Ms. Shione’s room 205. Please come to Ms. Shione’s room at 11:30. Can’t wait to see you all! 

1. There will be homework club after school in the gathering room until 4 pm. All are welcome 

1. Our H & S protocols restrict the number of people in a bathroom to the number of stalls and urinals in a bathroom.  In other words, there should not be groups of people in the bathrooms.  Please respect the protocols and visit with your friends in the designated areas rather than the bathrooms. 

1. With Christmas season coming, SOSS is having a grade wide food drive for prizes. Starting Tuesday Dec 1, bring in as many non perishable food items as possible and help your cohort build a canned food Christmas tree that dwarfs all others.   

1. Keep an eye out for our friendly scout elf Ms. Hornet.  She will be appearing in different locations around the school.  Once you see you, take a photo to be entered to win a fabulous prize.  Remember not to touch her as she will love her magic!  Pictures can be sent to Ms. Stopa. 

1. Grads, are you checking our Grad 2021 Team? How about your school email? There are lots of new messages on our Teams page and we need your help with some planning. Read the messages and let us know if you’re in!  Have you started on you CLC/Capstone? It appears that about one third of you have checked out the assignments and a couple of wonderful people have handed in something already. That means that two thirds of you haven’t even looked at the assignments yet...Yikes! The end of January is going to sneak up on us VERY quickly. In order to finish in time, you need to get started now. Please see Ms. Smith with any CLC/Capstone questions.

Ok everyone it is that time of year for our Library Christmas Advent Calendar Game!  Everyday there will be either a Trivia Question or Task announced on the morning announcements.  You must listen very carefully to hear what it is as some days will be for only one cohort. Also remember to wear your masks in the hallways while playing.   One person will win the Advent Calendar envelope prize, it will either be the Best entry or the first entry so you must listen carefully.   What are the prizes you ask?...  How about a Subway card, a free lunch in the Caf or some Timbits.  And those are only a few.  You may only claim one prize during the game.   We are starting the game next week, but today we are creating a bonus challenge for all students.  The person who creates the best star for our book tree in the Library will win the first prize for our Advent game.  Have stars to us on Monday November 30th by end of lunch.  So get your game faces on and lets have some Christmas fun!
