- Attention creative minds of SOSS! The Student Voice Club is hosting an Art Contest for a creative new SOSS logo for 2020! The winning design will be featured on our new student merch, and the creator will win awesome prizes! To enter, submit a piece of artwork with a REVAMPED design of the SOSS Hornet mascot for 2020. The deadline is extended to Nov. 24th. Art Contest information is in the main office.
- SAGA is meeting 3 times this week! Today at lunch, Wednesday, and Friday. We are working hard to create a display for Transgender Day of Remembrance, which is on Friday! Everyone is welcome to join.
- SOSS Hornet masks are for sale in the Library for $5.00. See Mrs. Wolfe to get your very own Hornet mask there is a limited supply.
- Kilometer Klub runs after school today. Meet outside the main gym @ 3:00pm.
- Yoga Club meets today after school in our new location the Small Gym.
- Please put your mask on even when you leave class to go to the washroom during class time. In particular, students in the tech building and students in the basement have been in the halls without masks. Any time you are in a common space, you need to wear your mask.
- Please remember that washrooms are not places to gather. There should only be as many people in the washroom as there are stalls and urinals. This has been our COVID-19 protocol since the start of the year. In addition, students should not be in the washroom any longer than it takes to use the toilet or urinal and wash your hands. Do not stay in the washroom for extended periods of time.
- Attention Grade 9s and Grade 11s reminder that your common spaces have switched today. Grade 9s are in the Atrium and Grade 11s are in the North end of the Main Gym.
