MONDAY DECEMBER 16TH, 2019 

 

  1. Good Morning Grads of 2020! It’s your Monday morning Capstone reminder. Please remember that the majority of your work is due at the end of this semester. Don’t leave everything ‘till the last minute...it’s time to get cracking now grads! See Ms. Smith or your grad mentors with any questions. 

 

  1. Late Bus today.  Pick-up is at 4:45 in front of the school 

 

  1. Glee Club at lunch today in the Drama Room. 

 

  1. Student Voice Athletics Floor Hockey Tournament begins today during the lunchtime hour. Game 1 starts at (12:45 – 1:00) Okanagan Snipers vs. The Commies and Game 2 starts at (1:05 – 1:20) The Veggies vs. Team 4.  

 

  1. Link Crew are selling Candy-o-Grams.  Send a friend some Holiday Cheer by purchasing a Candy-o-Gram.  There will be Candy Canes and Cards for $1 and Bags of candy and cards for $3.  All proceeds from this will go to the local charity Highway to Healing.  Last Day to purchase will be Wednesday December 18. 

 

  1. Grad breakfast sign-up sheet is in the office.  We still need a few more helpers.  Breakfast is on December 17. We will need the first round of cooks here by 6:30 and all chefs here by 6:45. We will also need servers and a clean-up crew.   

 

  1. Spirit Week is all this week!!   Jersey Day for Tuesday, Twin Day for Wednesday, Christmas Spirit Day for Thursday and Black Friday for Friday. 

 

  1. Smash Brothers Tournament has been changed to starting Tuesday December 17th till December 19th due the number of participants. Today is your last day to sign up! If you have custom controls, you must see Mr. Hofman before tomorrow at lunch or they will not be changed.  Sign up sheet is in the Atrium. 

 

  1. In the Caf today it is Chicken Ceasar Wraps and Red Pepper Corn Chowder and tomorrow will be Pulled Pork and Chorizo Soup. 

 

  1. Attention all Grads: Sign up sheet for grad photos is now available at the office. Dates are March 2-6. Please go to the office and book in a time slot.  

 

  1. The 4th Grade 8 Chopped Challenge of the year took place on Friday and what a challenge it was! The judges have narrowed it down to two top winners. In 1st place we have Ronin Van Geest, Aidan Wolfe, Donovan Rehbein and Owen Ogden. In 2nd place Tyler Sky Louie, Russell Skidmore, Maika Dontingy and Nathaniel Le Camp. Well done everyone!
