- Congratulations to all the students who participated in a very successful Talent Show last night. The crowd was fantastic! Thanks to all who came out to support it. Also, thank you to Link Crew for organizing a great event!
- Congratulations to the cast of Legally Blonde! We are excited to get rehearsals started! There will be a full cast meeting on Monday, November 25 at lunch in the Drama Room. Your first rehearsal is Tuesday, November 26! Come by and see Mrs. Pod if you need more information!
- Sr Girls Volleyball – All members of the Sr Girls Volleyball team are asked to please return their uniforms to Mr Podmorow as soon as possible.
- Jr Boys Volleyball – All members of the Jr Boys Volleyball team are asked to return their clean uniform to Mr Podmorow before Friday.
- Gr 8 Girls Basketball – Members of the Grade 8 Girls Basketball team are reminded that practice time today has been changed and practice will run from 4:30 – 6 on that day to accommodate the Volleyball wind-up activity.
- For any grade 9 to 12 students who are interested in basketball and volunteering, there is a new Oliver D-League being set up in town for elementary students and they are looking for volunteer coaches. This is a great opportunity for any grade 12 students who are still looking to get in some more volunteering hours. If you are interested or want to learn more about it come and see Mr. Baptiste.
- Student Voice Athletics 3 on 3 Basketball continues today at lunch. Game 1 starts at 12:45pm (GGB’s vs. Snipers) Game 2 starts at 1:03pm (B&B vs. Team 5).
- The Environmental Club is selling Me to We Rafiki bracelets for $10.00 each. Find them in the Caf at lunch and help create a better environment in developing countries.
- The Student Voice Club Retreat has been moved to next Friday. Students in grade 10, 11 and 12 are welcome to join Student Voice at any time. Please sign up in the office to attend the retreat.
- Dance tickets are on sale at lunch in the Atrium. Tickets are 5$ for general admission and $8 for VIP special access. The Dance is on Thursday November 28. Hope to see you all there!
- Anyone looking to help fundraise and empower women in our local community is welcome to join the Girls Can Talk Club meeting today afterschool in Ms. Shione's room from 3-4.
- In the Caf today it is Ginger Beef & Chow Mein and tomorrow will be Pizza.
- Its “National Collection Week” - come down to the office and grab a box to help kids in need. Due date is tomorrow November 22.
- The third Grade 8 Chopped Challenge took place yesterday and wow was it a close race yet again! The winners were Kitchen #5 of Memphis Pearce, Bryant Hall, Zain Bolenback and Abby Nickerson. Second place was almost tied but the winners were Kitchen 6 with their excellent Christmas Extravaganza. Congratulations to all!
- Reminder to all players of the Gr.8 Volleyball Teams boys and girls, that your wind up is today at 3pm in the small gym. Come ready to play and have some fun!
