- Congratulation to Ms. Riordan’s Law Class for winning the Halloween Classroom Decorating contest! They will enjoy a Pizza lunch next week.
- Graduates of 2020! Today during D block we will be meeting in the library to discuss your Capstone course. Please check in to your D block classes and then quickly make your way to the library. Capstone is a 4 credit course required for graduation and your attendance at the meeting is mandatory. Please bring your phones to the meeting so we walk you through how to access the course work. If you have not yet downloaded the Microsoft Teams app, please do it before today’s meeting.
- Grade 11 students, listen up...The Numeracy Assessment is coming up for all grade 11 students and any grade 12’s who have not yet written it. We will be writing Nov 6 or 7 and the lists for which day you will be writing are listed on the fishbowl. The assessments will be done in the computer labs, so please pay attention to what room you will be working in as well as what day you will be completing the numeracy assessment. Please see Ms. Smith with any questions (W, R, F, M, T)
- The Annual Junior Halloween Chopped Challenge took place yesterday with lots of ghoulish goodies being made. A big thank you to our judges of Mr. Hall, Mr. Schulting and Gina! The winners are Ben Cook, Madison Ramsay, Alex Stevens and Abi Mantua who created a “Graveyard Scene Two-Bite Brownie” accompanied by some magical “Butter Beer.” It was a very close race and 2nd place goes to the “Bleeding Pumpkin” cupcake created by Brayden Lee, Dylan Methven, Gavin Mann and Draven McKinnon. Well done everyone!
- Grads, don’t forget to pick up your meat and flower fundraising sheets from the office! Remember that every item you sell your grad fees will go down!
- In the Caf today it is Pizza and Monday will be Cobb Salad and Chicken Wild Rice Soup.
