Students who are willing to earn volunteer hours and gather valuable experience as a math and science tutor, please contact Ms. Gabel in the counselling office.

  1. No Caf Service today and Monday will be Waffles or Breakfast Sandwiches.

  1. The second Grade 8 Chopped Challenge of the year took place yesterday and the winners have been chosen! The winners are Vincent Sheppard, Savanah Adams and Chloe Thompson. Congratulations to all as it was a very close race and a big thank you to our judges of Ms. Laver and Mrs. Seminoff.

  1.  A Halloween Classroom Decorating Contest is being held this year in Block A for those who wish to participate.  Judging will take place in Bl. A on Oct. 31st and the winning class will receive a pizza lunch!

  1. It’s almost Halloween!  Time for our annual SOSS Dress Up Day and Costume Contest.  Halloween is next Thursday, Oct. 31.  Let’s see how much school spirit we have – dress up and be involved in the fun.  There will be a costume parade, judges and prizes for the best individual costume, the best duo costume and the best group costume.  Can’t wait to see everyone dressed up!
