- Auditions for the Talent show are taking place on October 17 at lunch and afterschool in the Drama Room.
- Today in the Caf it is Pizza and Tuesday will be Macaroni and Cheese and Potato Bacon Soup. Reminder that Monday that is no School for Thanksgiving.
- The Breakfast club is currently looking for student volunteers to help run the program. Whether you just want to give back to your school or are looking to fill volunteer hours. It’s only 1 to 2 days a week that we need volunteers from 7:50am – 8:25am. Please See: Shan, Mrs. Gittel, Or Ms. Ibi if you are interested! We do need student volunteers in order for the Breakfast club to run.
- The senior girls field hockey team had a strong day of play in Chilliwack yesterday, tying Sardis 1-1 and defeating Stanley Humphries 4-0. The junior girls played very well against Maple Ridge, holding them to a scoreless tie. Best of luck to the girls today as they take on some more challenging teams.
- Senior classes at SOSS – that’s all grade 11s and 12s - will be able to take part in our STUDENT VOTE prior to Election Day here at SOSS. The voting will take place in the school library Thursday, Oct. 17, and is open to students in grade 11 and 12. Teachers may bring their senior classes to the library that day to cast their ballot and take part in the Canadian High Schools Federal Election.
