- The Junior Field Hockey team held Princess Margaret to a goal in their exhibition game on Monday. There was lots of strong play from the Hornets, and Enola Mills was excellent in net.
- Skateboard Club is Back! If you want to get on the bus, be sure to get your permission forms and letters home from Mr. McKinnon in Room 206. Our first trip is Osoyoos next week on Tuesday.
- Today it is $1.00 hot dogs for the Terry Fox Run and tomorrow in the Caf it will be Taco Salad and Chicken Tortilla Soup and Friday is Pizza for $2.50 a slice.
- Jr. Girls Volleyball practice today and tomorrow at 4:30.
- The first Girls Can Talk Club meeting is taking place on tomorrow after school in Ms. Shione’s room from 3 to 4. Anyone interested in fundraising for women around the world or discussing issues regarding women is welcome to join.
- Attention all grads Senior Photography will be taking grad photos during B block this week. Please think of what you would like to use for your grad quotes – see Mrs. McVicar for more information.
- Last Call for donations to Terry Fox pie a teacher in the face! If you have a donation you must get it in right after these announcements!
- Healthcare volunteering at the hospital sign up: deadline is this Friday September 20.
- Grade 11 and 12 students are reminded to sign up for two sessions on the PSI day. Sign up sheets are on the fishbowl
- Sr Girl’s Volleyball – Come out and cheer on the Sr Girl’s Volleyball team as they play their first matches of the season vs Immaculata Catholic School and Princess Margaret. Games begin at 5 pm. Members of the team are reminded to turn in fees, permission slips and athletic agreements to Mr. Podmorow as soon as possible.
- Reminder that school fees are now overdue. Please get them in to Ms. Jones this week.
- The senior Hornets field hockey team have their first game of the season today. This season opener is a home game with the Hornets hosting Summerland. Game time is 4:00 come on out and cheer us on.
